Whether you desire rounder cheeks, fuller lips, or want to get rid of those dark circles under your eyes, facial fillers have revolutionized how Dr. Yamamoto treats those trouble spots. The key to a youthful face is restoring volume in areas that have lost it over time. Dr. Yamamoto has extensive training in the use of many different kinds of facial filler products and was an apprentice to Dr. Louis DeJoseph, one of the top facial filler injectors in the world. In addition, he has developed a “needleless injection” technique with micro-cannulas for many of his injections.

Dr. Yamamoto was very thorough and made me feel comfortable during the injections: Botox, lip filler, and cheek filler. Friends cannot tell I have had anything done, instead they ask me what I do to keep my skin looking so young. The best part is that I feel and look at least ten years younger thanks to Dr. Yamamoto’s expertise.
Wrinkles and lines aren’t the only signs of aging. Over time, the cheeks flatten, and the skin may begin to sag. This is caused by a natural loss of volume in the cheek area, or mid-face volume loss. The best way to combat this type of volume loss is a dermal filler precisely injected, by Dr. Yamamoto, in the cheeks to create more volume. Making the cheeks rounder and fuller helps naturally bring up the skin in this area and create some lift. This reestablishes the coat hanger of your face and gives you that subtle “facelift” through the cheek region. Of course, this can all be done very naturally. No huge cheeks or looking like an “alien” are necessary to get the lift and result you want. When injecting the cheeks precisely for a natural look, everybody will notice you look younger, but nobody will know specifically what you did. Dermal filler in this area can last up to 3 years.
Under Eye Enhancement:
Dark circles and puffiness are the most common complaints that Dr. Yamamoto hears. Many women say that they look and get told that they look tired even though they are not. This can be attributed to the dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. However common this problem is, many women are unaware how easily it is fixed. A small amount of a dermal filler is carefully and skillfully injected into the hollow of the eye, by Dr. Yamamoto, to fill in the area and restore volume. Dermal filler in this area can last up to 3 years.
The affectionately termed “duck lips” were much more common in the past, as the big, full, pouty lips were highly desired. Today, a more conservative, more structured lip looks great and is the most popular way to get lip injections. While I still use the same types of products like Juvederm and Restylane, the technique by which I inject is the important difference.
Essentially you can perform lip injections two different ways:
– Volume = inject more in the center of the lip to add size and fullness
– Structure = inject more along the edge of the lip to create a more defined edge and enhanced border of the lip (this helps your lipstick look even better).
Nasolabial Fold Injection:
Nasolabial folds are the folds that extend from the base of your nose to the corners of your mouth. We always have these lines there but they become more pronounced as we age because of mid-face volume loss. The deepening of the nasolabial folds is often a direct result of loss of support in the cheek area. To reverse these early signs of aging, Dr. Yamamoto injects a dermal filler into the hollow of the nasolabial fold to plump it up and create a smooth transition from the cheek to the upper lip. Dermal filler in this area can last up to a year.
Marionette Line Injection:
Marionette lines are the lines that extend from the corners of your mouth down to your jawline. They have a tendency to make you look unhappy or mad. There are a whole host of reasons why you might develop these lines from your skin losing moisture to excessive sun exposure or even your genetics. Since there is no way to prevent these lines from forming, the best way to combat them is with a plumping injectable treatment. Dr. Yamamoto injects a dermal filler along the line to create a smooth transition from your cheek to your chin. This will essentially fill in the marionette line. Dermal filler in this area can last in between 6 to 9 months.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Injection:
Non-surgical alternatives to cosmetic surgery are becoming more and more popular these days. A non-surgical Rhinoplasty is a straightforward, in-office procedure that can help you get the nose you want without surgery. Using fillers on the nose is a precision technique to build up or augment an area that needs enhanced shape. Injecting very small amounts of filler in specific areas can sculpt you an improved nose. Dermal filler in this area can last up to 3 years.
