Facial Plastic Surgery Consultation Process

Conveniently located to serve Reno, Carson City & Gardnerville

Beginning April 1, 2022, Double-Board Certified Facial and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Yamamoto will be charging a $150 fee for all consultations. This fee will be credited towards your injections and procedure costs.

Whether you’ve been considering a facelift, rhinoplasty, browlift, eyelid surgery, facial filler injections or another cosmetic surgery procedure, you can trust our highly trained staff to help you achieve your goals and obtain the look you have always desired. The procedure best tailored to your needs is determined with an in-person consultation with Dr. Yamamoto. During your visit, you can expect a thorough meeting with his entire staff. Dr. Yamamoto will discuss with you what particular parts of your face you are concerned with. He will go through a complete history and exam with you. Then you are put in front of the mirror and given the opportunity to show him exactly what you’d like to see changed. In the end, you will put your thoughts together with Dr. Yamamoto and come up with a plan that will fit both your desires and your budget. Photos are typically taken during your visit and used for computer imaging. This tool allows Dr. Yamamoto to communicate his ideas to you through the power of changing the images right before your eyes. This allows you both to understand what your desired outcome will be. As a rule, surgeons are conservative when using computer imaging. While these images do not guarantee an actual result, Dr. Yamamoto makes every effort to replicate and often exceed the patient’s expectations. CANCELLATION AND ETIQUETTE:

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or familial/work obligations. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting necessary treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book. As a result, failure to cancel your appointment in a timely manner (within 24 hours) may subject you to a $50.00 charge. It is unfortunate that this needs to be implemented – however, this is a business, and we must ensure that we maintain a timely schedule for all of our patients. Any patient whom does not complete the new patient paperwork before their scheduled appointment will have their appointment cancelled and subject to a $50.00 charge and not being rescheduled.
